WSTco became a registered reseller for the OpenSRS, ICANN accredited registry, and began offering internet domain name registration services to the public in 2001. Prior to that, we had been registering domain names for our clients, and helping other friends navigate the registration processes with their own domain name registrations. With the ending of the Network Solutions domain name monopoly, it became more efficient for us to offer the registration services directly, passing on the discount we get from OpenSRS.
Similarly, our TrackHost division was established as a separate web hosting division of WSTco, Inc., in 2002.
WSTco, Inc. was officially incorporated in the state of Virginia, in the United States, in 2001, after several years of operation as a sole-proprietorship. WSTco was originally formed as a consulting and business services corporation to operate a variety of businesses, including:
